Blueberry Explained

It occurs to me that some of you are confused by the Blueberry references.

When we first realized that I was "in the family way" Ryan asked me a question about the baby. I don't even remember exactly what it was, but my response was essentially that the baby was approximately the size of a blueberry at the time (she's about the size of fig now).

Thus, Blueberry.

It's already sticking.

I admit, I was a little surprised to hear "blueberry." I have heard "peanut" and "bean". But "blueberry" was different. It's nice... I like it. Mine, much to her dismay, is a "peach". Just be careful if "blueberry" turns out to be a "boysenberry"

That's not funny! Who's side are you on?

Well, I'm on the side of Blueberry... my little peach was going to be Kyle if a boy and Emma if a girl. For the longest time, I'd rub the belly and talk to little "Emma-Kyle". I'm so glad she's not gender-confused after that... lol. Personally, I LIKE girls...
